Highway and Road Construction–NAICS 237310
CP has managed and constructed road and highway projects ranging from small Forest Service paving projects to county road re-construction to highway realignments on Interstate Highways. Our typical road or highway project includes land clearing, earthmoving, drainage, grading, paving, and in some cases includes bridge construction. Most of these projects require considerable traffic control and detailed construction staging to accommodate the traveling public. US 26-Mckay Creek is a good example of the extra effort required to build a project without impacting the traveling public, and Rufus Landing is an example of a recently completed paving project.

Heavy Civil Structures– NAICS 237990, 238110, 238120
CP has built numerous structures for county, state, and federal agencies. The structures we have built include retaining walls, cofferdams, shoring walls, tide gates, drilled shafts, concrete bridges, and steel bridges. We are experienced in all types of structure concrete, including precast concrete, and we employ multiple certified welders and crane operators. |
|
Pile Driving– NAICS 237990
Many of the structure projects we have completed or are currently working on include pile driving. We own multiple cranes and pile hammers and have completed some very difficult and challenging pile driving work. The Millport Slough Bridge project requires more than 600 piling, some of which were driven more than 200 feet deep. |
|
Demolition and Site Prep – NAICS 238910
CP is experienced in the demolition of heavy civil structures, bridges, and buildings. We are also familiar and knowledgeable about disposal methods, recycling, and hazardous materials. We have completed projects requiring hazardous material testing and abatement. The recently completed Naval Center Demolition project required a tight schedule and included a significant amount of hazardous material abatement. |
|
Concrete Work–NAICS 238110
Concrete construction is something that is required on nearly all of our structure projects. From flat concrete bridge decks to thirty foot tall concrete retaining walls to concrete repair and overlays, CP has dealt with many concrete applications. |
|
Water Facilities and Treatment – NAICS 237990
CP has experience supervising and constructing storm drain runoff and treatment systems including underground piping, rip-rap, and settling ponds. We have also constructed other water management facilities such as rip-rap revetments, dikes, cofferdams, and tide gates, which we constructed on our Tenasillahe Island Project. |
|
Water, Sewer, and Utility Lines– NAICS 237110
A number of the projects we have completed include utilities. Most recently, we constructed a 16 inch water line system on our Millport Slough Bridge Project.

Design Build
CP is well acquainted with this project delivery method and has completed Design Build contracts ranging in value from $600,000 to $3,700,000. |
| |
Rapid Replacement
The projects we work on require that the impacts to the public are minimized as much as possible. Sometimes this necessitates that significant quantities of work are performed in a very short time period, such as a weekend road closure. CP is experienced in using innovative construction methods and working around the clock to exceed the owner's expectations of minimal impact to the public. |
